Reviews

Review the members and organizations you've dealt with, answer reviews of you, and report ones that break the rules.

Reviews help members trust each other. You can review a member you've bought from or sold to, and a club, team or business you've dealt with. Ratings show on profiles, Directory listings and ads.

Write a review

  1. Go to the member's profile or the organization's page, open Reviews and choose Write a review, or choose Review them in your conversation.
  2. Give 1 to 5 stars, say how you dealt (as a buyer or seller with a member; as a customer, player or other with an organization), and write what happened: 20 to 2,000 characters, without links, email addresses or phone numbers.
  3. Post it. You can edit or delete it later in My account → Reviews.

Verified reviews

When a seller marks an ad sold and names the buyer, both are emailed an invitation to review the sale, marked Verified sale. A business can send Ask for a review from a conversation, marked Verified customer.

Reviews of you

You're emailed when someone reviews you, and you can post one public reply to each review. An organization's Owners and Managers reply for it.

Common questions

›Why can't I write a review?

You need to have had a real conversation with them first, where you've both written. That keeps reviews to people who've actually dealt with each other.

›How many reviews can I write?

One for each verified sale or review request, plus one general review of each member or organization you've talked with.

›Someone left an unfair review of me.

Post a calm public reply with your side. If it breaks the rules (fake, offensive, private information or spam), choose Report. Reviews aren't removed just for being negative.

›Can I review my own business, or a competitor?

No. Reviews must be honest and about a real experience, and nothing may be offered in return for one.

›What happens when a review is reported?

An administrator looks at it. A review that breaks the rules is hidden, and its writer is told why.
