Action Air is surprisingly easy to start up and organizing competitions is easy with a couple hundred dollars, some volunteers and a safe space to host it.

Quick list:
1)Create a club and register it onto Practiscore.com
2)Purchase paper targets, we highly recommend https://doubletapsports.com/ as they are Canadian! Mini and Micro targets are what we shoot. (Mini being the main target) Micro for PCC and "long" shots.
3)Build target stands and fault lines. 1"x2"x8' planks cut to 5' height and a base that matches the width of the mini or micro target. Wrap the fault lines in red duct tape.
4)Build some visual barriers. 1"x1" wood studs with some 45 degree bracing at 4 foot and 8 foot lengths, staple on some snow fence and you are official!
5)Timing. Either time it with a stop watch to start out or get the Special Pie M4P1 timing system (Action Air world shoot target system).
6)Find a place to host. Either book your local airsoft field for a few hours, ask them to host an Action Air night or find a location with at least 1000 sq feet you can build stages in.

Approximate costs:
1)Target stands. If you are efficient with screws and the wood you can get these down to $7.00 a piece.
2)Walls can be built for about $30-40 each 1"x1" and snow fence.
3)Special Pie M4P1 $425.00
4)Fault lines $1.00 to $2.00 each 1"x2" stud with red duct tape.
5)Practiscore registration and tablet. Practiscore is free to use, find a used tablet or old cellphone and install the app! Free to $200.
6)Paper Targets 50 mini for $37.50, 50 micro for $35.00. Stickers 5000 for $30.00

For the cost of a new Tokyo Marui MWS or GBBR you can start an Action Air club!
