Hey everyone,

My name is Zolen Perry, and I’m the owner and organizer behind Colchester County Airsoft Club (CCAC) here in Nova Scotia. I realize I already made an introduction post, although I've now got a separate account for any CCAC-related contact and communications, or for sharing events and news easier.  I wanted to take another moment to properly introduce our club, our goals, and the direction we’re heading as we continue to grow within the Atlantic and broader Canadian airsoft community.

CCAC was officially formed a year ago with the goal of providing consistent, well-organized, and professionally run airsoft events that balance accessibility for new players with depth and realism for experienced players. We’re not just focused on “one-off” skirmishes, our long-term vision is to build a structured community with clear standards, recurring events, and meaningful player engagement.

What We’re Actively Working Toward

  • Regularly scheduled games during the warmer months, with structured rulesets, clear command, and well-briefed scenarios

  • Expanded milsim-style events, including larger objective-based games and multi-faction formats

  • Strong emphasis on safety, sportsmanship, and rule clarity, with comprehensive published rules and expectations

  • Player development, including onboarding for new players and leadership opportunities for experienced members

  • Community infrastructure, such as organized Discord systems, event sign-ups, role tracking, and after-action reporting

Fields & Areas of Operation

We are primarily active in:

  • North River (SNL area)

  • Debert / Airsoft Arena

  • Exploring larger outdoor locations, including potential milsim-scale events in areas like Windsor / Timber Creek

As the season ramps up (typically March–April once conditions allow), our activity increases significantly, with multiple events planned across different formats.

Bigger Picture Goals

Looking forward, CCAC aims to:

  • Help strengthen the Nova Scotia and Atlantic airsoft scene through collaboration rather than competition

  • Support centralized Canadian platforms like AirsoftCanada.ca to improve communication, buy/sell transparency, and information sharing

  • Contribute content such as event write-ups, field reports, rule frameworks, and community resources

  • Act as a reliable host for players looking for organized, fair, and immersive gameplay experiences

We’re always open to collaboration with other clubs, teams, content creators, and event organizers, whether that’s shared events, joint milsim planning, or simply exchanging best practices. Our biggest goal is getting people out, there's a signifant lack of events in Nova Scotia, it's been our aim over the past couple of years now to revitalize the community and bring a sense of regularity and community back to the players, especially those who have been missing the port, or just hearing about it and getting into it for the first time.

If you’re in Nova Scotia, the Maritimes, or just interested in how different regions are building their communities, feel free to reach out, ask questions, or get involved. I'm always open for a chat!

Looking forward to connecting with everyone here and helping build a stronger, more unified Canadian airsoft community.
