Hey everyone,
My name is Zolen Perry, and I’m the owner and primary organizer of the Colchester County Airsoft Club (CCAC) based in Nova Scotia. I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce myself and outline what we have planned for the upcoming season here in the Atlantic region.
Over the past couple of years, CCAC has grown into an active and consistent community with 150+ active members and 50+ games hosted across a variety of formats—from casual skirmishes to structured objective-based games and milsim-style events. Our focus has always been on safe gameplay, strong organization, clear rules, and immersive experiences, while still keeping events accessible for newer players.
2026 Season Outlook (March–April Onward)
As the weather begins to stabilize and temperatures stay consistently warmer, we’ll be ramping up operations starting around March and April, depending on ground conditions and field readiness. Once the season is underway, CCAC will be active at several locations across Nova Scotia:
North River – SNL
This will be one of our primary outdoor fields for the season. Expect regular skirmish days, structured objectives, and evolving scenarios as the player base ramps back up.
Debert Street Airsoft Arena
Indoor play will remain a key part of our schedule, especially early in the season and during poor weather. This venue allows us to run faster-paced games, CQB-focused rule sets, and skill-building sessions.
Windsor – Timber Creek (Planned Milsim Events)
We are actively working toward organizing and planning larger milsim-style events at Timber Creek. These events will focus on:
Command structures and chain of command
Squad-based objectives
Extended scenarios
Faction-based gameplay
These will be more structured than standard skirmish days and aimed at players looking for a deeper, more immersive experience.
Additional Background
Outside of CCAC, I’m also actively involved in the milsim side of the sport as:
Team Lead for The Hooligans
Nova Scotia Squad Lead
Team Lead, and occasionally Cadre, at milsim events
That experience feeds directly into how we design and run games, especially when it comes to leadership development, field discipline, and creating scenarios that feel purposeful rather than chaotic.
Looking Ahead
I’ll be using this section to post:
Upcoming event announcements
Seasonal schedules
Larger milsim plans
Notable updates affecting Atlantic players
My goal is to continue raising the bar for organized airsoft in Nova Scotia and contribute positively to the wider Atlantic and Canadian airsoft community.
If you’re local to Nova Scotia, or planning to travel for games, keep an eye out for CCAC events this season. I’m always open to collaboration, feedback, and cross-community involvement.
Looking forward to a solid season ahead
